It was a terrific night and a lot of good creativity was flowing. \nResoundingly\, it was decided that the very next step in our journey to greatness was a Strategic Planning and Vision Workshop\, so we could devel op a purpose and everyone can align to that.\nSo\, before ideas are put fo rward we need to have a vision and strategy plan (VASP) so that the USBC i s projected and a structured community body working towards business growt h in the USBC.\nBy doing this we will have a clear model of what the USBC wants to achieve and be able to present the USBC as a professional and str uctured entity.\nThis will also be something that can be used when making proposals and grant requests.\nIt was agreed this workshop should be done as soon as possible with the involvement of an external facilitator.\nWe h ave been very lucky to score Joe and Diane from the NSW Business Chamber t o help us by facilitating this meeting\, and it will be on Monday\, the 24 th of July at 3pm at the Thunderbolt Inn (Bottom pub)\, followed by dinner (at own expense) if you so choose.\nIn preparation for this workshop cons ider any main points of issue that should be included in the VASP.\nPut yo ur thinking caps on and let’s together work out in what direction we want to take this\, our Business Chamber!\nAll interested in seeing business in our shire thrive are welcome – tell your colleagues too.\nSee you on Mond ay afternoon!
