We can’t do this without you!</p> <p>We need a minimum of five and a maximum of eight on the committee, however all members of the Chamber are encouraged to attend meetings.</p> <p>We see this Chamber as being an inclusive cooperative group of Uralla Shire Businesses working together for the common goal of making the Uralla Shire a thriving economy and a success for all businesses and residents of the Uralla Region. This can take the form of supporting individual businesses, but the over-arching vision is to make Uralla an awesome place to visit, work and live – and have the entire country know that! It was a terrific night and a lot of good creativity was flowing.</p> <p>Resoundingly, it was decided that the very next step in our journey to greatness was a Strategic Planning and Vision Workshop, so we could develop a purpose and everyone can align to that.</p> <p>So, before ideas are put forward we need to have a vision and strategy plan (VASP) so that the USBC is projected and a structured community body working towards business growth in the USBC.</p> <p>By doing this we will have a clear model of what the USBC wants to achieve and be able to present the USBC as a professional and structured entity.</p> <p>This will also be something that can be used when making proposals and grant requests.</p> <p>It was agreed this workshop should be done as soon as possible with the involvement of an external facilitator.</p> <p>We have been very lucky to score Joe and Diane from the NSW Business Chamber to help us by facilitating this meeting, and it will be on Monday, the 24th of July at 3pm at the Thunderbolt Inn (Bottom pub), followed by dinner (at own expense) if you so choose.</p> <p>In preparation for this workshop consider any main points of issue that should be included in the VASP.</p> <p>Put your thinking caps on and let’s together work out in what direction we want to take this, our Business Chamber!</p> <p>All interested in seeing business in our shire thrive are welcome – tell your colleagues too.</p> <p>See you on Monday afternoon!
