Pioneer Park Council survey

Pioneer Park Redevelopment Feedback

A brief reminder that all community members have been asked to respond to a survey recently delivered to all households asking for feedback on the plans for improvements to Pioneer Park.

As the survey due date is this Thursday, 20th September, it’s important that people who have given thought to these options, respond accordingly to the survey.

It’s important for concerned members of the Uralla community to consider supporting and maintaining Pioneer Park as a Heritage venue given the strategic and small size location in a the centre of our historical town.

For those interested, please find the Feedback Form here. You can then send it to council by Thursday by mail, fax, email or hand deliver. Council’s notification re this:

“Pioneer Park Redevelopment Feedback.

Council applied to the State Government’s Stronger Country Communities Fund to redevelop Pioneer Park. The proposal is for a master-planned, substantial, multi-age group adventure play facility. It will incorporate swings, rope challenges, slides and other contemporary equipment, safety fencing around the active play component, landscaping, lighting, seating, shade structures and water bubblers.

The funding has been granted by the State Government.

A second phase of the redevelopment, yet unfunded, is intended to include interpretative heritage elements.

Council has resolved to seek community submissions about the two design options that have been prepared for the redevelopment.”
